Urban Roots Leeds provides a range of gardening services including lawn management, hedge trimming and general property maintenance. We are committed to an eco-friendly approach, and we do not use any chemicals or pesticides.

Garden Design

With over 10 years’ experience of garden design and planting we will work with you and nature to create a beautiful and practical outdoor space. We are absolutely committed to gardening in an environmentally friendly way and all planting schemes focus on species for pollinators. We can help you to reduce your ecological footprint, support local biodiversity, and enjoy a beautiful garden that thrives in harmony with nature.

Urban Roots Nursery

We know that plants are expensive, and we provide a range of high quality plants at affordable prices to our clients. The majority of our plants are grown with pollinators in mind and all are grown in peat-free compost.

WASTE MANAGEMENT

Gardens produce a lot of green waste which can be expensive to dispose of. We don't take green waste away but we can help you set up and manage compost bins. These bins were built by Urban roots out of cheap recycled pallets! This will save you hundreds of pounds, give you free compost for your garden and provide a great habitat for local wildlife. We can also help you make the most of your brown bin, provide large bags to help you take waste to the tip or arrange a local company to take your waste away.

Community Gardening - People and plants growing together

Gardening and nature have a profound effect on people’s sense of wellbeing. At Urban Roots Leeds we want to support local community groups to embrace gardening and the benefits it brings to mental and physical health. We offer one day a month to support local community organisation with gardening projects.
